Mohun Shoal

Mohun Shoal (52˚15'00" 128˚30'00" NW of the Bardswell Group, Milbanke Sd, NW of Bella Bella). Emmaline Jane Tod (1835–1928) was the daughter of HBC fur trader John Tod (see Tod Inlet) through his marriage to Eliza Waugh (c 1807–57). She was born at Ft Alexander on Lk Winnipeg. Her mother was committed to a psychiatric institution in Britain after suffering a breakdown, and Emmaline (often written Emmeline) was raised by relatives in Montreal.
