Moore Point (54˚15'00" 130˚25'00" SW side of Digby I, just W of Prince Rupert). Named in 1907 after John Wheeler Moore (1866–1946), a native of N Carolina and locating engineer for the GTP at the time this area was first surveyed in the early 1900s. He was known for building railroads through mountains and highways through swamps.
