Mount Shepherd (49˚32'05" 124˚11'15" S end of Texada I, Str of Georgia). In Aug 1792, when Henry Shepherd was trading for sea otter furs on the N BC coast with the brig Venus, he met Capt George Vancouver near Calvert I and was able to tell him that his storeship, the Daedalus, had arrived at Nootka Sd.
