Munroe Rock

Munroe Rock (48˚35'00" 123˚18'00" SE end of Sidney Channel, between Sidney I and James I, Gulf Is). Hugh Munroe (b about 1851), from Ont, was an early settler and landowner on James I. He is listed in the 1891 BC census as a house builder and contractor residing at Nanaimo.
