Murray Shoals

Murray Shoals (52˚01'00" 128˚18'00" W of the Admiral Group, Queens Sd, SW of Bella Bella). Rear Adm Leonard Warren Murray, CB, CBE (1896–1971), was born in NS and became a first-term cadet at the Royal Naval College of Canada in 1911. He was promoted to lt cdr in 1925 and attended Royal Naval Staff College in 1927, taking over as senior naval officer at Esquimalt, 1929–31.
