Nahwitti Bar


Nahwitti Bar (50˚53'00" 128˚00'00" S of W end of Hope I, W Goletas Channel, off N end of Vancouver I), Nahwitti Point (50˚54'00" 127˚59'00" SW side of Hope I). The name refers both to a fortified former village site, located on Cape Sutil, and to the Nahwitti First Nation, whose traditional territory was the very N end of Vancouver I and the islands offshore.
