Nanaimo (49˚10'00" 123˚56'00" SE side of Vancouver I), Nanaimo Harbour (49˚10'00" 123˚54'00" Just E of Nanaimo). This important BC coastal city takes its name from the area’s Island Halkomelem First Nation inhabitants, the Snuneymuxw, who still occupy the region.
