Newcombe Harbour

Newcombe Harbour (53˚42’50” 130˚05’20” E side of Petrel Channel, NW end of Pitt I), Newcomb Rocks (50˚30’00” 127˚40’00” W side of Drake I, Quatsino Sd, NW end of Vancouver I). Capt James Alfred Holmes Newcomb (1859–1934), born in NB, was a fisheries protection officer on the BC coast, 1903–23. His name is often misspelled Newcombe.
