Noot Rock

Noot Rock (50˚30'00" 127˚40'00" E of Brockton I, Buchholz Channel, Quatsino Sd, NW end of Vancouver I). John “Jack” Roach Noot (1878–1928) married Hannah Elizabeth “Bessie” Wall (b 1881) at Victoria in 1903 and settled on the S shore of Quatsino Sd, near Klootchlimmis Ck, in 1907. He had come in 1882 with his family to Victoria, where his father, George Noot, worked as a customs clerk.
