Norman Point

Norman Point (49˚29'00" 124˚40'00" S point of Hornby I, Str of Georgia). RN officer Francis Martin Norman served on the Pacific Station, 1859–60, as 3rd lt of HMS Tribune, under Capt Geoffrey Hornby. He is listed as a cdr, retired, in 1863. Named by Capt George Richards of HMS Plumper in 1860.
