Nucleus Reef (51˚34'30" 127˚48'24" SE of Blair I, E side of Fitz Hugh Sd). The Nucleus was a tug or survey launch used, together with the Canadian Hydrographic Service barge Pender, on a 1984 survey of this area’s numerous rocks, reefs and shoals. The name was suggested by the regional superintendent of Fisheries & Oceans Canada and adopted in 1991.
