Orlomah Beach (49˚22'00" 122˚53'00" W side of Indian Arm, NE of Vancouver). Vancouver realtor and insurance agent John Joseph Banfield (1855–1934) acquired this waterfront property prior to WWI. Orlomah is a composite word made from the names of his three children—Orson (“Or”), Lois (“lo”) and Mae (“ma”)—and his wife Harriet (“h”).
