Orwig Islets (54˚08'00" 130˚03'00" S of Veitch Point, mouth of the Skeena R, SE of Prince Rupert). Torsten Matheas Orwig (1849–1924), from Norway, received a Crown grant of land in this vicinity in 1912. He came to Port Essington with his family in the late 1890s and was one of the first full-time boatbuilders on the N BC coast.
