Owen Island


Owen Island (Just S of Owen Point), Owen Point (48˚33'00" 124˚30'00" W entrance to Port San Juan, SW side of Vancouver I). Named in 1846 by Capt Henry Kellett of HMS Herald after the prominent RN surveying officer William Fitzwilliam Owen (1774–1857), whom Kellett had served with earlier.
