Owikeno Point


Owikeno Point (51˚42'00" 127˚27'00" At junction of Hardy Inlet and Moses Inlet, N side of Rivers Inlet). Named after Oweekeno (also known as Katit), the principal village of the Oweekeno First Nation. This settlement, with a population of about 60, is located just E of the mouth of the Wannock R, which connects nearby Owikeno Lk to Rivers Inlet.
