Pearson Point

Pearson Point (55˚27'00" 129˚30'00" NW side of Alice Arm, NE of Observatory Inlet, SE of Stewart). Ole Pearson, from Sweden, and his three partners (Ernest Carlson, Karl Eik and Ole Evindsen) staked the original Dolly Varden claims near the head of Alice Arm in 1910. The site of the discovery—and the name that he was supposed to give to it—apparently came to Pearson in a dream.
