Peculiar Point


Peculiar Point (49˚51'00" 127˚06'00" N entrance to Esperanza Inlet, NW of Catala I, W side of Vancouver I). The original name for this feature, suggested by Juri (George) Alexander Jeletzky, a renowned research scientist working in the area for the Geological Survey of Canada, was Funny Point.
