Port Guichon


Port Guichon (49˚05'00" 123˚06'00" S side of mouth of the Fraser R, SW of Ladner). This agricultural settlement was named after Laurent Guichon (1836–1902), from the Savoy region of France, who took part in the Cariboo gold rush and then ranched in the Nicola valley with his brothers.
