Potts Point


Potts Point (49˚27'43" 123˚21'51" W side of Port Graves, S side of Gambier I, Howe Sd, NW of Vancouver). Named in 1945 after Maj Gen Arthur E Potts (1891–1983), who was born in Northumberland, England, and educated at Univ of Edinburgh before doing graduate work at Cornell Univ. He entered WWI as a private, served in France, was wounded twice and emerged a lt.
