Price Bay

Price Bay (48˚27'00" 123˚27'00" N end of Esquimalt Hbr, SE end of Vancouver I). This name, adopted in 1966, commemorates Henry (1837–1909) and Richard Price (1839–1921), who bought the Six Mile House at nearby Parson’s Bridge about 1894 and turned it into a hotel. The Six Mile was one of BC’s oldest pubs, established by William Parson in 1856.
