Prince Rupert


Prince Rupert (54˚19'00" 130˚19'00" NW side of Kaien I, just N of the mouth of the Skeena R), Prince Rupert Harbour (54˚20'00" 130˚18'00" Off W and NW sides of Kaien I). Kaien I was chosen as the terminus for the GTP in the early 1900s, and land clearing and construction began in 1906.
