Procter Rocks


Procter Rocks (52˚51'00" 131˚45'00" Off S side of Selwyn Inlet, E side of Moresby I, QCI). Named after Thomas Gregg Procter (1862–1913), a real-estate promoter from Nelson who travelled to the E side of Moresby I in the early 1900s to try his mining luck. Like many others, he did not stay long. He was from England and had been a midshipman in the RNR as a youngster.
