Rant Point (49˚16'00" 125˚50'00" SW entrance to Bedwell Sd, Clayoquot Sd, W side of Vancouver I). Geraldine Muriel Rant (1890–1963) pre-empted Welcome I in nearby Cypress Bay in 1912 and received a Crown grant for the property in 1917. She had accompanied her large family to BC from England in 1894.
