Ray Point

Ray Point (50˚34'00" 126˚11'00" N entrance to Call Inlet, E of the Cracroft Is, S of Knight Inlet). Henry Johns Ray (d 1903) was assistant paymaster aboard HMS Havannah, under Capt Thomas Harvey, on the Pacific Station, 1855–59. He returned to the BC coast in 1885–88 with HMS Triumph, the flagship of Rear Adm Michael Culme and, later, Rear Adm Algernon Heneage.
