Ray Rock


Ray Rock (50˚06'00" 124˚44'00" E side of Desolation Sd, E of Mink I, NE end of Str of Georgia). Formerly known as Grey I but renamed in 1945 by the hydrographic service after RN officer Edward Hood Lingard Ray of the corvette Tenedos, who was stationed at Esquimalt in 1873 but became ill and had to be invalided back to England.
