Reception Point (49˚28'00" 123˚53'00" SW end of Sechelt Peninsula, S of Halfmoon Bay, NW of Vancouver). This feature was formerly known as Welcome Point, named in association with nearby Welcome Passage. The hydrographic service changed the name in 1944 in order “to avoid duplication and retain identity.”
