Reid Point

Reid Point (52˚47'00" 132˚01'00" S side of Tasu Sd, W side of Moresby I, QCI). RCN officer Howard Emerson Reid (1897–1962) came to the QCI in 1935 and made an examination of potential W coast anchorages and harbours for the Dept of National Defence. He was born in Que, attended the Royal Naval College of Canada and then went on to a celebrated career in the RCN.
