Richardson Bay


Richardson Bay (48˚50'00" 123˚21'00" SE side of Prevost I, W of Mayne I, Gulf Is). John Richardson (b 1859) was the first keeper at Portlock Point lighthouse on Prevost I, which was built in 1895–96. He and his wife, Sarah Jane (1862–1931), had come out to Canada from England in 1890; their daughter Viola was born on Prevost in 1901.
