Riordan Point (53˚27'00" 128˚55'00" N entrance to Bishop Bay, Boxer Reach, opposite E side of Gribbell I, N of Princess Royal I). Thomas Travers Riordan was the surgeon aboard HMS Boxer, 1871–75, while that gun vessel was stationed on the BC coast. He was promoted to staff surgeon in 1878.
