Rix Island (53˚31'00" 128˚44'00" In Alan Reach, Gardner Canal, S of Kitimat). George Alexander Rix (1865–1945), from Ont, taught at Barrie before graduating from Univ of Toronto in 1893 and being ordained an Anglican clergyman.
