Robinson Island (50˚54'00" 127˚17'00" Blunden Hbr, S of Bradley Lagoon, N side of Queen Charlotte Str, NE of Port Hardy). RN officer George Robinson served on the RN survey vessel Actaeon off the coast of China and also worked on a survey of the coast of Nfld, 1864–71. He was promoted to staff cdr in 1873 and spent 1873–76 in the UK at the Admiralty hydrographic office.
