Robson Channel (48˚50'00" 123˚14'00" Between Curlew I and SE end of Mayne I, Gulf Is). This name was one of many submitted in 1969 by the Gulf Is Branch of the BC Historical Assoc. Frederick James Robson (1847–1937), from Pimlico, London, came to BC on the brideship Robert Lowe in 1863. He pre-empted land on Lulu I and then joined the Cariboo gold rush.
