Rogerson Rock

Rogerson Rock (52˚29'00" 129˚05'00" Off SW side of Aristazabal I, Hecate Str). Sgt William Rogerson was a member of the Columbia detachment of Royal Engineers, which served in BC 1858–63. He and his wife came to BC with the main contingent of men, travelling aboard the Thames City and arriving in 1859. They returned to England when the detachment disbanded in 1863.
