Ryan Point


Ryan Point (54˚22'00" 130˚29'00" N entrance to Duncan Bay, SW side of Tsimpsean Peninsula, just NW of Prince Rupert). Named in 1862 by William Duncan, the well-known Anglican missionary at Metlakatla, after Rt Rev William Vincent Ryan (1816–88), principal of London’s Highbury College, where Duncan received his Church Missionary Society training.
