Sainty Point


Sainty Point (53˚22'20" 129˚18'51" SE entrance to Grenville Channel, just W of Hartley Bay, SW of Kitimat). Capt Clifford Claude Mosley Sainty (1874–1956), a native of Colchester, England, came out to Victoria with his wife, Isabelle (1875–1958, née Wilson), and joined the CPR’s BC Coast Steamship Service as a 2nd officer in 1909.
