Shakes Islands


Shakes Islands (53˚48'00" 130˚29'00" Between Goschen I and Dolphin I, S of Porcher I and Prince Rupert). Shakes is an anglicized version of the hereditary name of one of the main chiefs of the Kitkatla First Nation; many other spellings of the name are found, including Saiks, Seeks, Sheuksh and Syacks.
