Sir Edmund Bay


Sir Edmund Bay (50˚49'00" 126˚36'00" NE side of Broughton I, Penphrase Passage, NE of Port McNeill), Sir Edmund Head (50˚49'00" 126˚35'00" E end of Broughton I). The headland was named about 1864 by RN surveyor Lt Daniel Pender of the Beaver after Sir Edmund Walker Head (1805–68), gov of the HBC from 1863 to 1868.
