Sladden Island (53˚36'00" 130˚34'00" In approach to Griffin Hbr, W side of Banks I). Nelson George Sladden (1881–1969) worked as an oiler aboard the W coast federal survey vessel Lillooet in 1921 after returning from overseas service in WWI. He died at Victoria.
