Smithe Point


Smithe Point (52˚20'00" 131˚19'00" S tip of Burnaby I, off SE side of Moresby I, QCI). William Smithe (1842–87) was BC’s premier and chief commissioner of Lands and Works in 1884, the year that Newton Chittenden was engaged to explore and report on the resources of the QCI for the provincial government.
