Sointula (50˚38'00" 127˚01'00" S side of Malcolm I, E side of Rough Bay, Broughton Str, SE Queen Charlotte Str). A group of Finnish settlers, led by journalist Matti Kurikka, formed a socialist utopian colony here in 1901 and received Malcolm I as a land grant from the provincial government.
