Stewardson Inlet

Stewardson Inlet (49˚26'00" 126˚18'00" Extends SW from Sydney Inlet, N of Hot Springs Cove, W side of Clayoquot Sd, W side of Vancouver I). Alan Eden Stewardson (1906–76) graduated from UBC and joined the Canadian Hydrographic Service as a junior hydrographer in 1929. He was involved in surveys of the W coast of Vancouver I (1930–36), Rivers Inlet (1937) and the Str of Georgia (1939–40) before retiring in 1941 due to ill health. He died at New Westminster.
