Stewart Passage


Stewart Passage (53˚26'00" 130˚25'00" Between Surge Rks and NW side of Banks I). Named for the federal survey vessel William J Stewart, built on Georgian Bay, at Collingwood, Ont, in 1932 and designed for hydrographic work. It spent 43 years as the Pacific flagship of the Canadian Hydrographic Service.
