Swindle Island (52˚32'00" 128˚35'00" S of Princess Royal I, NW of Bella Bella), Swindle Point (52˚28'00" 128˚28'00" E side of Swindle I). The origin of this intriguing name, unfortunately, is unknown. It first appears on an Admiralty chart dated 1867, though not on a chart of the same area dated 1865.
