Tan Island

Tan Island (50˚06'00" 125˚00'00" In Gorge Hbr, SW side of Cortes I, N end of Str of Georgia). Tan I was formerly known as Brown I. In 1945 it was renamed by the hydrographic service—in one of its less-inspired moments—in order to avoid unnecessary duplication.
