Teakerne Arm


Teakerne Arm (50˚11'00" 124˚52'00" E of Lewis Channel, W Redonda I, NE of Campbell R). The derivation of the name is not known, but the fact that it appears as Tea-kerne in the 1864 Vancouver I Pilot by Capt George Richards and as Teak-Erne in the 1909 gazetteer has led some writers to suspect that it may have a First Nation origin.
