Thorn Reef

Thorn Reef (49˚07'00" 125˚55'00" W side of Templar Channel, SW of Tofino, Clayoquot Sd, W side of Vancouver I). Jonathan Thorn (1779–1811) was the autocratic capt of the fur-trading barque Tonquin, which was attacked in Clayoquot Sd by Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation warriors in 1811.
