Townley Islands (50˚01'28" 124˚50'26" W of Bliss Landing on Malaspina Peninsula, NE Str of Georgia, E of Campbell R). Charles Robert Townley (1861–1925), from Orillia, Ont, had a background in mining but came to BC in the early 1900s as a purchasing agent for the CPR’s steamship operations to the Orient.
