Trotter Bay


Trotter Bay (52˚53'00" 131˚53'00" NE side of Moresby I, facing Selwyn Inlet, opposite SW end of Louise I, QCI). Named by the hydrographic service in 1945 for William Waddington Trotter (1891–1961), who was manager of the nearby Lagoon Bay Cannery in 1943 and reported several dangerous rocks in the vicinity when the area was surveyed.
