Upward Rock

Upward Rock (51˚27'00" 128˚01'00" SE of Stafford Point, off S side of Calvert I, S of Bella Bella). Named in 1947 after R A Upward, a hydrographer on CGS William J Stewart, 1946–48, who worked on surveys of the Inside Passage, Queen Charlotte Sd and Smith Sd. Formerly known as Bird Rk.
