Village Islands (48˚20'00" 123˚36'00" E side of Becher Bay, S tip of Vancouver I). These islands, themselves a Scia’new First Nation reserve, are named for their proximity to the main Scia’new village sites on the E and N sides of Becher Bay. The Scia’new people are also known as the Beecher Bay First Nation (note the slight spelling variation between the name of the bay and that of the First Nation group).
